New study reveals: Female refugees hardly reached by sport clubs
But even though there are strong barriers linked to gender inequality and migrant exclusion, the research shows that there exist successful strategies for inclusion. Based on empirical data collected in 7 EU member states, the German SPIN organisation Camino published a study report on the access and participation of migrant women and girls in sports.

Strong women & powerful girls

The seminar took place on November 30th and December 1st in the context of the SPIN Women project.
Sport Inclusion Network successful with new European Refugees project
In summer the European Commission has called for projects on the integration and social inclusion of refugees through sport. Out of 70 received, eleven projects were selected for the 2019 edition of the call. One of the successful pan-European projects is “Sport Inclusion of Refugees across Europe” (SPIN Refugees).
