For the eleventh time, SPIN member Sport and Cultural Association Neuer Start organized their annual festival to promote social inclusion through sport and cultural exchange.
A shining example of migrant self-organization
This year, the festival titled “From Kabul to Vienna” took place from 31.8.-1.9. under the motto “Equality”. It was held for the eleventh time and has established itself as an annual highlight for the promotion of social inclusion through sport and cultural exchange. The festival and Neuer Start strive to create a positive intercultural social environment, facilitate the integration of migrants and refugees, establish a space for encounters, break down prejudices and impart knowledge about human rights, fair play, social justice and anti-discrimination. It promotes intercultural exchange and contributes to better coexistence. The diverse target group includes the groups concerned as well as various stakeholders in the field of integration and media.
